Why don’t you use the term “ceremonial grade”?

Because it’s just marketing — and not used in Japan. We prefer transparency: our matcha is grown and milled in Makinohara, Shizuoka, in small monthly batches. Direct from the farm, no long storage, just peak freshness.

Is your matcha different from supermarket or online brands?

Yes. Most matcha sits in storage for months. Ours is made fresh every month in Shizuoka and shipped directly to Malaysia — no middlemen, no long storage, just freshness.

Why only one batch per month?

Matcha is seasonal. By making one fresh batch each month, we deliver a smoother, more vibrant tea that hasn’t been sitting in a warehouse.

Is it really from Japan?

Absolutely. Our matcha is grown and milled in Makinohara, Shizuoka. We work directly with a local farm under contract, ensuring traceability, fair pricing, and authenticity.

What makes TEKO different?
